Well I'm in a (random) sweepstakes for this, and although I really was hoping for Cote D'Ivoire, i ended up getting Ghana. Which I am very happy with, as not only would they have been my second favourites to win, they are also the home nation, and the home nation has won the previous two tournaments, so that's a good omen.
Ghana to piss all over Guinea later....

Looking forward to it. Pissed I have to go out and miss Inverness Vs. Rangers. I don't know why I fuck with SPL but Marius Niculae has always been a G to me.
Ghana are going to be very, very strong, Egypt cheat and have some very skillful players. Angola have two players of decent quality, Mali have not much but that didn't stop Collymore backing them, Nigeria have a crazy frontline and a couple of serious defenders, there's always politics over there though.

The reffing was atrocious. Double-footed feet off the ground sliding tackles ...got nothing. It was worth watching just to see if the players would ruck afterwards.

Yeah. Egypt pretty much won on cheating alone. There's probably too much passion flying around.

What two players are you referring to? We definitely have no chance of winning it all.

LOL...I don't think Mantorras in the squad...he said he wouldn't play for Angola again, at least not under that coach...is Manucho really that good? I had never heard about him until this United talk...Flavio, Mateus, and Love (the other strikers) are more popular.

ghana vs guniea was a good game, Ghana deserved to win, Mutari scored a beauty, I never saw that coming, kingston's crosses from wing were real bad, dude needs to work on that, if his crosses were half decent they could have scored at least 2 more goals.
Nigeria VS Cote D'Ivoire tommorrow will be a classic |
