So what stops any piece of history being hearsay?
I'm not saying either way. Because The Bible is a very broad book and can be interpreted limitless ways. Are we supposed to believe his name was Jesus? Or that he rose from the dead? Or are we supposed to take the examples and apply to our daily lives. Did the incidents happen before the Biblical telling of the story? Is "The Bible" an update on an old story? Did Jesus exist? Was it 2000 years ago? Can you prove it either way?
