Its been reported D12(including Eminem) will be back inthe studio in June to start recording their next album. They are starting the project in June because they are waiting for Swifty to come back home, he has been locked since April

Why is Eminem considered to be one of the Greats?
I mean serioulsy, homie hasn't made a classic album. Imo, he talks about the same shit all the time. And when he's ill, he's beefing or freestyling. I can easily match plenty of cats up against him lyrically.
His Potential is what I think has people calling him one of the greats. But he hasn't lived up to that potential when its time to make a really really good album.
So, break it down for me, cause I don't understand.

co-fuck sign ive been feelin dat way for awhile to....i think Marshall Mathers LP was really his only strong CD Slim Shady was good but i thought his last 2 joints (3 if u count that greatest hit joint) have been straight ass....i think the reason he climbed up the charts so fast and got so much hype was A)the time in which he came to blow in hip-hop was pretty much right after Pac n Big died really so that void was styll up for the takin and B)dude feed of the controversey he started.....isnt it funny that No Controversey=Sorry ass CD's for Em....without a buzz or without people to hate him he becomes just another battler rapper....a good one but not good enough an all around emcee to be on a G.O.A.T list IMO

True, I agree that he hasn't lived up to what he could do, but really why should he? Whatever he does makes $$$.
His flow, multis, and rhyme schemes are amazing. I think there are few that can see him lyrically from a technical aspect. His race isn't an even an issue, he has talent.
Though I'm not a huge Eminem fan, I think his four four albums (including "Infinite") have all been better than most. "Encore" was weak, but I like it more than practically everyone else. He's at his best when he's angry, and now that he's made a small fortune he's lost the fuel to his fire.
A GOAT? Maybe not, though I don't think that many people consider him to be such. A great lyricist? Undeniable. What holds him back isn't his talent, its his inability to use the microphone to say something of substance.
(He does have a classic album, or as close as any I've heard in a while. It's entitled "The Marshall Mathers LP.")

For Em though, he gets respect for being able to appeal to the 10 yr old white kids who hate their moms to the 20s yr old black guy who loves hip hop. He's not the best in the game by any means, I don't even really like him, but he has enough in him to at least get some respect.
Eminem kept it real and rapped about his life,he put real emotion in his raps
unlike these other 80% rappers who rap about the same thing
